I’m a seasoned writer with one foot in the world of TV writing and the other in advertising. As a Sr. copywriter I’ve worked primarily in social and broadcast. While my own sensibilities are left of center, I’ve demonstrated an ability to write across the spectrum — from the darkest corners of video game fandom to the open pastures of middle-America’s small business owners. At one point, the Instagram/Facebook/Twitter audience I was writing for totaled over 103 million people.

I’m client-friendly, a collaborator at heart, and use my penchant for sometimes strange, oddball approaches to push intended messaging into surprising territory. I pride myself in the ability to generate a constant flood of ideas for any audience and any product. As an Ogilvy nerd, I throw my passions behind the product/brand and seek to understand the audience by immersing myself in their respective world(s).

In Hollywood, I’ve been on staff for 100+ episodes of scripted, produced, and aired television for Disney+, Netflix, and Comedy Central. I’m most recently the Head Writer on a to-be-announced DreamWorks/Netflix TV series.

I’ve also published poems, short-stories, and non-fiction in over a dozen veritable literary magazines, including The New Republic. And before you ask: yes, I have a typewriter.
